Frantic gasp for air
Drowning in the pain
How much can one bear
From wrongs of yesterday
Smallest sprout of hope
Tiny seed of faith
Praying they will grow
With goodness and with grace
Looking on ahead
New beginnings there
Humbly bow my head
And cry my desperate prayer
Quickly come my Lord
Hear my groaning soul
Heal, renew, restore
All empty now make full
Heaven's love surrounds
Comfort softens stone
What was lost is found
And peace at last is known
Weary heart find rest
Arms are open wide
Journey bright and blessed
Until the other side
Jesus said "I am the Vine." We are to abide in and wait on Him as our everything. As a sufferer of many illnesses, both physical and mental, I have learned much through seeking Him.
